Indianapolis Area Chevrolet Dealer, Hare Chevrolet is inviting the public to drive a vehicle for two days and “post” about their experience. If you wish to participate, become a fan of Hare Chevrolet and post the vehicle you want to test drive and why you like this vehicle. On December 18, 2009 we will select one person to test drive a New vehicle and one person to test drive a Used vehicle. Once you are chosen we would require you to “post” 3 times per day about your experience along with a post drive interview and picture. - For the purpose of this agreement the individual participation in the Facebook Fantasy Test Drive will be referred to as the customer and W. Hare & Sons Inc (Hare Chevrolet), the company providing the vehicle will be known as the dealership.
- I understand that I am responsible for any loss or damage to the vehicle I am driving, even if someone else caused it or the cause is unknown, whether due to theft, fire, hail, flood, collision, vandalism, or any other cause as well as loss or damage to persons or property resulting in bodily injury or property damage subject to limitations imposed by the law. This includes towing, estimated cost of repairs, storage, claims processing fees, impound fees, loss of use, diminished value and administrating charges regardless of fault.
- Vehicle deemed to be unlawfully converted if not returned when due.
- The operation of this vehicle by any driver less than 25 years of age is prohibited. Under this agreement liability insurance does not protect customer or driver if driver is less than 25 years old. Driver must also hold a valid Drivers License.
- Customer agrees to answer a questionnaire given by Hare Chevrolet, both before and after completing the Facebook Fantasy Test Drive.
- Customer agrees to participate in a post test drive interview with a member of the Hare Chevrolet staff.
- Customer agrees to post comments on their Facebook Wall a minimum of 3 times per day about their experience, about their driving experience.
- Consumer herby consents to the use of my photography, digital image, Facebook transcript, interview information print or video may be used for advertising and marketing purpose including but not limited to, print media, web media, dealership website, brochures or newsletters. I herby waive, release and forever discharge W. Hare & Sons Inc (Hare Chevrolet) from any claims or liability arising from the use of my image and information for the above purposes.
The customer may drive the vehicle for a maximum of 200 miles during their Facebook Fantasy Test Drive.

If the information relates to the service or repair of your vehicle we retain the personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to address any issues arising from the service or repair of the vehicle or as may be required by law. If there are legal requirements relating to the period of time which we must retain your personal information we comply with those requirements.
What can you do if you want to limit the use to which we Put Your Personal Information?:
Most of the personal information which we collect is necessary for us to sell or lease you your vehicle, to provide products and services related to the vehicle, assist you in the financing or leasing of your vehicle or provide service to your vehicle and we cannot do this without that personal information. Similarly, we must disclose your personal information as described above in order to sell you the vehicle, provide products and services related to the vehicle, assist you in arrangements for financing or leasing or to provide servicing to your vehicle. Indiana Chevrolet Dealer reveals Facebook Fantasy Test Drive Winners
On November 20th, winners Chris Williams and Marlene Grayson were awarded a chance to have a 48 hour Fantasy Test Drive of their dream vehicle. Everyone who became a fan on Hare Chevrolet’s Facebook could enter to win the Fantasy Test Drive by posting information about their favorite vehicle and why they liked it.
Hare Chevy’s first winner was Marlene Grayson who chose the NEW 2009 Chevrolet Corvette Brickyard 400 Edition. She hoped for an opportunity to drive the Chevrolet Camaro or Chevrolet Corvette, and in the end she chose the Chevy Corvette. On November 30th, Marlene picked up her vehicle to take home with her to test drive for a full two days.
The second Fantasy Test Drive winner was Chris Williams. He personally had the chance to drive a BRAND NEW white 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. Chris had entered the Indy Chevy Dealers Facebook competition for his wife, Dawn, whom he believed deserved the experience of a newer model. Dawn, years ago, had owned her own Chevy Camaro, which was sold for a “family car”. The first day of having the Chevrolet Camaro, Chris and his family had nicknamed it the White Lightning.
On December 2nd, Marlene Grayson returned her 2009 Chevrolet Corvette. Marlene enjoyed her time with the Corvette so much, she didn’t even want to return the keys. In Marlene’s own words, “I just want to thank Hare Chevrolet for the experience and picking me to test drive their beautiful 2009 Chevrolet Corvette. A person that buys a car like that is a very lucky person!”
On December 3rd, “White Lightning” returned to the Indianapolis Chevrolet Dealer homesite location Hare Chevrolet. Chris Williams, was very disappointed he had to return the 2010 Camaro. He had many the BEST experience and excitement from driving the Camaro for two straight days. Chris gave numerous daily updates on Hare Chevrolets Facebook of his enjoyment with the Camaro. His three children loved to be taken to school in the morning in the Camaro and all of their friends to see them. Dawn, Chris’ wife, sadly wasn’t able to drive “White Lightning” but she had a great time riding in it with Chris and the family. Chris gave specific detail on his favorite parts of the Chevrolet Camaro. He explained the Camaro’s including great traction control on slick, rainy roads. When comparing the NEW model to a 1972 and 1987 Chevrolet Camaro, he only had positive things to mention; such as, the speed it can reach and the smoothness of the drive was unbelievable.
